Just purchased an HP 6015e printer. We have 2 computers and 2 phones that are now connected to the printer. Am able to print from HP computer, and 2 android phones. But the Lenova computer reads "offline" and unable to print. Is there a way to fix this? Been through numerous troubleshooting, turning on & off, etc. Nothing seems to work.

@Polly71, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding HP Officejet 8015e Printer Offline on Lenovo Computer!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
It sounds like you're having connectivity issues with your Lenovo computer recognizing the HP Officejet 8015e as available for printing. Below are some steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:
Check Network Connectivity:
- Ensure that both the Lenovo computer and the printer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. If your computer is connected via Ethernet, you might need to connect it through Wi-Fi temporarily to troubleshoot.
Restart Printer and Computer:
- Turn off the printer and the Lenovo computer, then turn them back on. This can reset the network settings and clear any temporary issues.
Update Printer and Computer Drivers:
- Ensure both the printer and your Lenovo computer are running the latest software and drivers. You can download the latest HP printer drivers from the HP software and driver downloads page relevant to your country.
Set the Printer as the Default Printer:
- On your Lenovo computer, go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers, right-click on your HP printer, and select "Set as Default Printer."
Check Printer Status:
- In Devices and Printers, check if the printer status is set to Offline. Right-click on the printer and choose "Use Printer Online" if it is marked offline.
Run HP Print and Scan Doctor:
- Use the HP Print and Scan Doctor tool to diagnose and fix connectivity issues. This software can often resolve problems related to printer offline status.
Firewall Settings:
- Check firewall and antivirus settings on the Lenovo computer that might be blocking printer communication. Temporarily disable them to see if this resolves the issue.
Restore Printer Wi-Fi Setup Mode:
- Restore Wi-Fi setup mode on your printer, then reconnect it from your Lenovo computer. You might need to do this through the printer's menu interface.
Reinstall the Printer Using the HP Smart App:
- Open the HP Smart app again, remove the printer, and then re-add it to the app. Follow the setup instructions carefully.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
