Common problems for Connectivity Issues
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about Printer Wi-Fi, Connectivity Issues and Offline Status. Check out this link: HP printer is offline or unavailable.
HP Recommended

I am not looking for help, I am reporting issues. I realize that this printer is several years old but it provided very good service for 2 or 3 years. In the last year or so, every time I try to print it is offline and requires steps and effort to "wake up". This was not the case for many years. Perhaps the printer just got old but there is absolutely no help to be had from HP. In addition, their Instant Ink program holds you hostage. I finally got fed up and bought a new Epson Printer (no way I would buy another HP). To add insult to injury, when I cancel the Instant Ink program, I can print until Feb 10 BUT I get to pay a final $15,99 and get nothing. Doesn't really matter since the printer has now quit working altogether but the idea of paying a final bill for NOTHING just stinks. I have had several HP printers over the years but I can assure you that this one is the last. Support after warranty is non-existent so you cannot solve any problems. I actually believe that the connection with Instant Ink caused the additional problems with the printer going offline. Terrible to see such a historically great company get to the point of "planned obsolescence" of their products and picking the pockets of their customers.
