HP Officejet Pro 8030

Printing is fine, nut each time I send a wireless print job the printer states that there is no internet connection. After I press OK, my pages print.

Hi @cbezold ,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP Officejet Pro 8030 is experiencing issues with connecting to the internet for ink usage purposes despite being able to print wirelessly, you can try the following troubleshooting steps:

Check Network Connection: Ensure that your printer is connected to the same wireless network as your computer or device. Verify that the wireless signal is strong and stable.

Restart the Printer: Turn off your printer, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on. This simple step can often resolve connectivity issues.

Restart the Router: Power cycle your wireless router by unplugging it, waiting for about 10-15 seconds, and then plugging it back in. This can help refresh the network connection.

Update Firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. Visit the HP support website, enter your printer model, and download and install the latest firmware if available.

Printer Wireless Setup: Check the wireless settings on your printer to ensure that it is properly configured to connect to your wireless network. You may need to go through the wireless setup process again.

Printer Software Update: Ensure that your printer software and drivers are up-to-date. Visit the HP official website, enter your printer model, and download and install the latest software and drivers.

Firewall/Antivirus Settings: Check your computer's firewall or antivirus settings to ensure that they are not blocking the printer's access to the internet. Temporarily disable them to see if it resolves the issue.

Static IP Address: Consider assigning a static IP address to your printer. This can prevent potential IP conflicts and ensure a more stable connection.

Factory Reset: As a last resort, you can perform a factory reset on your printer. Be aware that this will reset all settings, and you'll need to set up the printer again.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.-
