Hi @Ferlo01

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

I understand the situation where your HP OfficeJet Pro 9010 is showing as offline even though it should be ready. Let’s go through recommended steps to bring it back online:

Step 1 – Power Reset
Turn off the printer, wait for about 30 seconds, and then turn it back on. This refreshes the hardware connection.

Step 2 – Check Wireless Connection
On the printer’s control panel, confirm that Wi‑Fi is connected. If needed, reconnect using the Wireless Setup Wizard.

Step 3 – Verify in HP App
Open the HP App on your computer.

  • If the printer shows offline, remove it from the app.
  • Re‑add the printer by selecting “Add Printer” and follow the prompts.

Step 4 – Run Diagnose & Fix
In the HP App, go to Printer Settings > Diagnose & Fix. This tool automatically checks and repairs connectivity issues.

Step 5 – Update Firmware and Drivers
Make sure the printer firmware and drivers are up to date. You can download the latest updates directly from HP’s support page:

Step 6 – Confirm Windows Settings
On your PC, go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.

  • Right‑click your printer and ensure “Use Printer Online” is selected.
  • Set it as the default printer if needed.

Step 7 – Test Print
After completing the above steps, try printing a test page from the HP App or Windows settings.

These actions should help restore smooth printing.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
