Hi,
I have a HP Printer (Laser Jet 200 Color MFP M276nw). It was connected to my home internet via Wi-Fi so I was able to print wirelessly from my laptop and cell phone and was able to scan documents from the printer and save them onto my laptop.
In Nov or Dec 2020, it was no longer able to connect to the Wi-Fi network (couldn't print or scan wirelessly). The printer was able to find the network, but was not able to connect to it even though I entered the correct password. The error message was "Invalid WPA Passphrase".
I updated the firmware (HP LaserJet Pro Series Firmware Update Utility version 20190401) per instructions here https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c05240288 by connecting the printer to my laptop via USB and pushing the firmware update to the printer. The printer looked like it accepted the update.
I downloaded and ran HP Print and Scan Doctor 5.5.2 for Windows PC and downloaded the latest print driver. I still can't connect to the Wi-Fi,
Finally, I connected the printer to the router via Ethernet cable and now I am able to print from my laptop, cell phone and scan documents to my computer.
However, if I pull the Ethernet out I still can't connect to the Wi-Fi! Can I please get some advice on how I can fix the wireless connection from the printer to the internet so I don't have to use the Ethernet cable.
Thank you!

Please also make sue your router firmware is up to date and check for any difference then.
Also, from the Setup Menu select Network Settings and then Restore the Factory Defaults.
Next follow the Wireless Setup Wizard to reconnect the printer and check for any change.
If the same remains, could you clarify your router brand and model?
Have you made any network change prior of the problem?
