Hi @Rick467

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

I understand that your facing issue with both the printer as you are unable to connect to the network.  I would request you to please follow the steps:

Restart and Reset

  • Turn off your printer and unplug it from the power source.

  • Restart your router: unplug it, wait 10–15 seconds, then plug it back in.

  • Power on your printer again and wait for it to attempt reconnection.

  • If issues persist, consider performing a Network Reset from the printer’s settings menu.

Check Printer Connection Settings

  • On the printer’s control panel, go to Network Settings or Wireless Setup Wizard.

  • Make sure Wi‑Fi is enabled.

  • Select your Wi‑Fi network name (SSID) from the list.

  • Enter the correct Wi‑Fi password carefully

  • Make sure the printer is connected with 2.4Ghz (most of the printer supports)

Use HP Smart App

  • Download and open the HP Smart app.

  • Add your printer again using the app. It will guide you through the setup and ensure proper configuration.

Network Configuration

  • If your network uses a static IP setup, ensure the printer has the correct IP address, subnet mask, and gateway.

  • Access the printer’s Network Configuration Page (usually printable from the control panel).

  • Compare the printer’s IP settings with your router’s configuration.

  • If needed, manually assign a valid IP address within your router’s range.

Hope this helps, Please revert if the issue persists. Please share me the Model Name.

Take care and have an amazing day!
