My printer will not associate with my router.  The Wireless Network Test Report says that the WPA authentication method on my printer has been changed from the default setting to wpa2-psk.  I did not change the authentication method and can't seem to be able to change it back.  I tried resetting to factory defaults and clearing the security settings (via the front panel).

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,

This printer supports WPA encryption, check if the router is on the same encryption method. If using WEP or WPA-PSK+FT change it to WPA-PSK.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

Many thanks Echo-Lake. I am using the AT&T BGW320-500 fiber gateway. I am checking with them to see if I can change the security authentication without affecting the other devices on the network. My guess is that they changed something on the gateway that caused the printer to stop working.

Everything is working perfectly. I am using the AT&T BGW320-500 gateway. Somehow the security setting was changed to WPA-2. I reset it to WPA-1 or WPA-2 and the printer is functioning perfectly.

Thanks again for all of your help.
