Hi everyone
I bought a new HP Printer (9015e) and I want to use the function "Scan to email" direct on the printer (not using an app or a computer):
I use my outlook User Name and also an app-password (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/account-billing/using-app-passwords-with-apps-that-don-t-support...).
Anyway, it doesn't work. I proved it with several ports / other passwords / Size of email... --> and after five hours...I'm frustrated...
Can someone help me?
THANKS a lot!
Best regards,
Klaus

Welcome to the HP Community Forum.
Not sure -- I can suggest where to double check and perhaps add / edit your setup information.
Will it work? Maybe. I've not tried it with your email address provider.
If you have not edited your Profile since switching to the App Password method,
Open your Scan-to-Email Profile -- or add a new profile if you don't have one already --
Next,
Set up / Edit the Profile -- go through each page / menu.
The setup and test is very similar to the "main menu" setup -- remember to (re)enter your mail App Password in place of the existing / regular password.
The setup is similar for mail providers other than the one used in the example.
Example - EWS -- SMTP -- Scan-to-Email
EWS_9025_Scan-to-Email_Setup_2

and
Create / Select app and (then) create your app password
- At the bottom, choose Select app and choose the app you using > Select device and choose the device you’re using > Generate.
- Follow the instructions to enter the App Password. The App Password is the 16-character code in the yellow bar on your device.
- Tap Done.
Tip: Most of the time, you’ll only have to enter an App Password once per app or device, so don’t worry about memorizing it.
Assign / set that new App Password in your Scan to Email profile as the password.
