I currently have HP LaserJet Professional M1217nfw MFP.  I’m trying to connect HP SMART App to connect & configure for Faxing from my iPhone.

I can’t get my printer to show up via Wi-Fi and connect to my phone.

 

Is this printer compatible to be used with the Smart App?  Also, if I buy a new printer, will I have the faxing service FREE indefinitely?  HP website is stating a trial and then states it’s free for users.  Very confusing.

Yes, this printer is not compatible with HP SMART.

However, go through this document and see if that helps.
