This All-in-One has stopped printing (scanning has not worked since I switched to Fiber Internet). My OS is Mac Sequoia 15.2 - not an option listed in the above drop down menu. I tried again yesterday to get this All-in-One to scan now it will not even print. All indications on the printer screen indicate I am connected to the network and that all should be working. ( I've even printed out numerous reports with none indicating any issues.) Since there is no Print and Scan Doctor available for Mac I tried the recommended 'Diagnose & Fix' option within HP Smart App. That is grayed out as the app apparently 'thinks' there are no issues to diagnose and fix. I've checked and double checked that both Macbook and printer are on the same network (even ran another Wi-Fi Setup on printer to have it reconnect to the network). I've unplugged both printer and router and turned off the computer to hopefully reset everything. Any help found in google treats users like idiots, telling you to check that printer is turned on, if printer has paper and ink, and if printer and computer are on the same network. Come on! I need some real help not computers for dummies. Also, HP just wants to sell me a tech service contract. I'm so frustrated I'm surprised I've held it together enough to not just through the printer in the trash. Can anyone help??

I'm sorry to hear about the frustration you're experiencing with your HP Smart Tank 7602 on macOS Sequoia 15.2.
Reset the Printer System
Resetting the printer system can resolve underlying software conflicts.
Open System Settings > Printers & Scanners.
Right-click (or Control-click) on the printer list and select Reset Printing System.
Re-add your HP Smart Tank 7602 and test scanning again.
This method has been effective for restoring functionality.
Use Image Capture for Scanning
If the HP software isn't working, try using macOS's built-in Image Capture app:
Open Image Capture (found in Applications > Utilities).
Select your HP printer from the devices list.
Attempt to scan a document.
This bypasses HP's software and can help identify if the issue is software-related.
Run HP Smart:
- Download and run the HP Smart. Follow the prompts to diagnose and fix common printing issues.

Update Printer Firmware (Update the firmware on an HP printer | HP® Support)
- Go to the HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads page. Enter your printer model number and search for the latest firmware update. Follow the instructions to download and install the firmware update.
