HP Smart Tank 5101 All-in-One Printer

my printer all of a sudden cannot find my Wi-Fi network. I’ve tried to follow directions and reset the Wi-Fi, and continued to press the information button, then hold the Wi-Fi and cancel button as the instructions say. The set up mode does not work. And the Wi-Fi light keeps on blinking. It blinks and blinks for hours and can’t find the network. What else can I do in order to get my printer back online. I have an HP smart tank 5100 series.

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

 

Try these steps:

Perform a Full Printer Reset

Turn off the printer.
Unplug the power cable from the back of the printer.
Wait 1-2 minutes.
Plug the power cable back in and turn the printer back on.

 

Manually Connect Printer to Wi-Fi

On your PC or phone, go to Wi-Fi settings.
Look for a network named HP-Setup-xxxx and connect to it.
Open a browser and enter 192.168.223.1 in the address bar.
Go to Network Settings and manually enter your Wi-Fi details.
Save and restart the printer.
