HP Smart account/billing

We lost our ISP last week due to modem failure. A new modem did not solve our problem. My printer and any other device that requires the Internet will not work without the Internet. I have tried to explain the situation with the HP Smart 'tech support' but because they do not understand English, they can't help.

I'm trying to let HP Smart know that I will not have a reliable ISP until after July 2,2025. I am paying $5.91 every month for HP Instant ink, but since my printer has no Internet, HP thinks I turned off my printer. It is still powered up, but can't get on the Internet .

Someone please let HP Print know. 

There is no phone number for an HP support in the USA!

I’d like to help clarify a few things for you:

Pausing Your HP Instant Ink Subscription
You do have the option to pause your HP Instant Ink subscription for up to 3 months at a time if you won’t be able to use your printer. This way, you won’t be charged for pages you can’t print while you’re offline.
To do this, please sign in at www.hpinstantink.com and look for the “Pause Subscription” option under your account settings.

About Using Instant Ink Cartridges
HP Instant Ink cartridges do require an active Internet connection to work properly. This is because they are managed through your HP Smart account. Without Internet, your printer can’t communicate with HP’s servers, so it may stop printing with Instant Ink cartridges even if the printer is powered on.

If you need to print urgently while offline, you could purchase standard HP cartridges from a local store, these will work without needing to be connected to HP Smart services.

I know this situation isn’t easy, but once your ISP is back up after July 2, 2025, your printer should reconnect automatically.
