Hi, 

 

I bought this printer from eBay as a refurbished unit. 

 

Aesthetically looks good, but no matter what u do, I can't seem to get the printer recognised via the HP  app. 

 

There's a peachy/orange glow from the printer with the cross and check/tick icons backlit. That's about it. 

 

When I unplug and plug it back in, it does go through the cycle and play this rewarding little melody, but still can't find it in the app! 

 

Can anyone help? 

 

For what it's worth, the standard of documentation available about these screen-less printers is quite ridiculous! Sort it out HP!

I'd like to help!

 

To assist better-

  1. How is the printer connect to the device USB or wireless?
  2. What device are you using the printer with, a Windows computer, Mac, Android or an iPhone? 
  3. What is the status of the wireless light on the printer, steady or blinking?
  4.  I would like to know, is your router set to work on 2.4 GHz network or 5 GHz network band?
