Product: HP Color Laserjet Pro MFP M283fdw

The printer is working fine and on the Mac Printer and Scanner page I can open the queue and view print jobs & supplies so communication is good. I can Scan and HP Easy Scan also works

 

The HP  App keeps showing offline and will not scan (worked once after initial setup !), 

Also will not show Printer Setting correctly so supply status not showing in app, also other sub menu options greyed out.

Runs Printer diagnosis but finds no issues

 

it will load finder to print documents

 

It has to be an issue with the app rather than the printer/setup

 

have removed app as per HP threads and reloaded app, reset printers all to no avail

Hi,

What happens if you right-click the printer within the App and select Forget This Printer, and then click the plus sign to re-add it?

It still does the same thing, shows offline, unable to scan, show supplies etc
