Hi,

I have been using HP Smart with my HP ENVY 5020 without any problem. It's been a few weeks since I last used it, so I cannot pinpoint when it started. Now, when I try to run HP Smart, but it just flashes up for a moment and then disappears. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but get the same thing. I turned the printer off and back on. Same disappearing act. Nothing about my network setup has changed; whether wireless or ethernet. My drivers are up to date. The printer works fine. It is the HP Smart app itself that fails to open.

Please assist with a relevant response. (No offense, but I see a lot of failed attempts to answer questions in this forum.)
