I have sprocket studio plus printer and have only managed to print from it a couple of times due to wfi connection, despite being in same room and only a few feet away from router. Would a wifi booster help?

Hi @Lindyloo24,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand your HP Sprocket Studio Plus losing Wi-Fi connection during printing. Let’s go through a few checks.

Restart Printer and Router

Turn off the printer.

Unplug the router for 60 seconds.

Turn the router back on and wait for the internet to stabilize.

Turn the printer back on.

Confirm Same Wi-Fi Network

Check the Wi-Fi network on your mobile device.

Ensure the printer is connected to the same network.

Avoid switching between different Wi-Fi networks during setup.

Note: The printer connects more reliably on a 2.4 GHz network.

Reconnect Printer in HP Sprocket App

Open the HP Sprocket app.

Remove the existing printer from the app.

Select Add Printer.

Complete the setup again.

Update HP Sprocket App

Open the App Store or Google Play Store.

Search for HP Sprocket.

Install available updates.

Restart the mobile device.

Move Printer Away from Interference

Place the printer within 3–6 feet of the router.

Keep it away from microwaves, cordless phones, and metal objects.

Try printing again.

I hope this helps.
