While examining network captures we noticed a large amount of data being broadcasted and malformed packets coming from two older HP Printers failing Jet Direct cards and hooked them up via USB, this solved the issues with those specific printers

 

Now when analyzing the Wifi it's been discovered a number of HP printers are broadcasting on the Wifi even with Wifi disabled

 

I ran through the recommendations from other users experiencing this issue

-Enabled then Disabled Wifi

-Reset the printer

-Used EWS to disable

-Used Telnet to disable

 

They still show up on wireless captures and the Wifi is being pounded by broadcasts.

 

Is the last resort a firmware update?
