Not sure why it’s so hard to get in contact with a representative for tech help…

I have moved to a new location with a different wifi setup. My printer for whatever reason cannot find the network despite me printing instructions and following the prompts. I was instructed to go to wifi settings and select HP setup, but there was no such option. Then I am instructed to just press and hold the wifi button which did nothing either. It seems like there should be an easier way to get it to recognize the new wifi signal but it can’t find it.

Hi @Jordan2269

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

It sounds like your HP DeskJet 3755 is struggling to connect to your new Wi-Fi setup, which can be frustrating. Since the usual setup options aren’t appearing, here are some steps to try:

1. Reset the Printer’s Network Settings

  • Press and hold the Wireless button and Cancel button together for 3 seconds.
  • This should reset the printer’s network settings.

2. Use the Embedded Web Server (EWS)

  • Print a Network Configuration Page to find the printer’s IP address.
  • Open a web browser and enter the printer’s IP address.
  • Navigate to Network Settings > Wireless Setup Wizard and manually connect to your Wi-Fi.

3. Try WPS Connection (If Supported)

  • Press the WPS button on your router.
  • Within 2 minutes, press the Wireless button on the printer.

4. Use HP Smart App’s Diagnose & Fix Tool

  • HP Smart has a built-in tool to troubleshoot Wi-Fi issues. You can find a guide here.

If none of these steps work, HP’s official troubleshooting guide for Wi-Fi connection issues might help here. Let me know if any of these solutions work!
