I was helping my customer and cx was using 8025 printer and I tried to connect it wirelessly and printer connected to wifi. Usually when printer connects to wifi it displays the IP address. In my case it was displaying IP address as IP address updating. I opened the router page there was not printer available and while I setup printer wirelessly, Printer control panel displayed "connection successful". The issue is while printer is connecting to wifi successfully, Why was it not showing IP address? What does it mean IP address updating. Tried multiple times still same issue. And in that printer I was not getting the restore to factory default option as well. PLease help......

4. Touch Yes.
5. Print the network configuration page and verify that the network settings have been reset.
Connect the printer using Wireless setup Wizard

Sir, Thanks for reply.
But as I have mentioned that I am not getting any restore option. Is there any other way to restore it to factory default or restore network settings to default? If I was getting the restore option, printer would have connected to wifi but no resotore option is available in printer. Any solution for that ?

You might have to perform a semi-full reset on the printer.
The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I am sending you a private message with the steps to reset the printer. Please check the mailbox icon at the top-right corner of this screen.
I hope this helps resolve this issue completely.
