Hi @SrbinLeskovac,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I hear your frustration. Network changes can make printers feel like they’ve gone rogue. Let’s get your HP ENVY 6020e back online step by step:

1. Reset Printer Network Settings

  • On the printer, press and hold the Wireless button (or Wireless + Cancel buttons together) for about 5 seconds until the Wi-Fi light blinks.
  • This restores the printer’s network settings so it’s ready to connect to the new router.

2. Use HP App

3. Check Router Settings

  • Ensure your router’s 2.4 GHz band is enabled. Many HP printers don’t support 5 GHz Wi-Fi.
  • If your router combines 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz under one SSID, it usually works, but if not, temporarily enable 2.4 GHz separately.

4. Alternative: WPS Button

  • If your router has a WPS button, press it.
  • Then press the Wireless button on the printer for 3 seconds.
  • Wait for the Wi-Fi light to stop blinking; this means it’s connected.

5. Reinstall Printer in HP App

  • Once connected, remove the old printer entry from the HP app.
  • Add the printer again so it uses the new network.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
