HP DeskJet 2755e All-in-One Printer

hi! My printer is not connecting to the internet. I really need to speak to a live agent or something to help troubleshoot. I'm a teacher and this is very frustrating because I need to print things for my students. Thanks!

@NanVarney, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

I totally understand how frustrating it can be, especially with how critical printing is for your work. Let’s try a few troubleshooting steps:

Check Your Wi-Fi Connection

Make sure your printer is within range of your Wi-Fi router.

Double-check that your router is connected to the internet, and that other devices are working fine on Wi-Fi.

If your router is working fine, reset it by turning it off for 10-30 seconds, then turning it back on. This sometimes helps with connection issues.

Reboot the Printer

Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source for about 60 seconds. This gives it a full reset.

Plug it back in and turn it on. Sometimes a simple reboot does wonders.

Use HP App

If you haven’t already, try using the HP App. Sometimes the app can help you set up the printer properly or troubleshoot wireless issues.

You can also check the status of your printer in the app and make sure it's connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer.

Check for IP Address Conflicts

If your printer and computer are on different networks or the printer isn’t getting a proper IP address, it won’t be able to connect to the internet. Check your printer's Network Configuration Page and verify that it's getting the right IP address.

Reconfigure the Printer’s Wi-Fi Connection

If all else fails, you might need to reset the printer’s network settings completely and reconfigure the Wi-Fi connection.

You may refer to this guide: Restore Wi-Fi setup mode on your HP printer | HP® Support

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
