HP OfficeJet Pro 6968 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

I was looking at enrolling in the HP Printer program for my officejet printer. What I am wondering is that in the agreement it states that the printer is owned by HP which is ok if I am getting a new printer, however my OfficeJet Pro 6960, that I own is working perfectly fine right now so I don't need a new printer now.

Will I be required to accept a new printer when enrolling in this program or can I continue to use the printer that I presently own?

Hi @Redlegs,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be glad to help you!

I understand that you're considering enrolling in the HP Printer program and have concerns about the ownership of your current printer. It’s great to hear that your OfficeJet Pro 6960 is working well for you!

HP Instant Ink works with nearly all printers 5 years old or less and that have a Wi-fi® connection.

You may refer to this article to get more details regarding instant ink.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance
