Hi @Slemish05,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your printer is working properly but your HP app is saying it cannot connect to the printer, there may be a few things you can try to resolve the issue.

  • Check the network connection: Make sure your printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the device you are using to access the HP app. If the network connection is weak or unstable, it can cause connectivity issues.
  • Restart the printer and the device: Try restarting both the printer and the device you are using to access the HP app. Sometimes a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues.
  • Update the HP app: Check if there is an update available for the HP app and install it if there is. An outdated app may not be able to connect to the printer properly.
  • Reinstall the HP app: If the app continues to have trouble connecting to the printer, try uninstalling and reinstalling it. This can sometimes fix any software-related issues.
  • Check the printer settings: Make sure that the printer is set to online mode and that it is not set to offline mode or sleep mode. You can check this by accessing the printer settings on the printer itself.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

Restart your printer by turning it off, waiting 10 seconds, and disconnecting the power cord from your printer. Then, turn off your computer. Connect the printer power cord to the printer and turn the printer back on. Disconnect the power cord from your wireless router.

Will
