HP LaserJet MFP M140w Printer
macOS 11.0 Big Sur

Hello!

My HP LaserJet MFP M140w is not printing anymore. The exclamation point symbol is blinking and the HP Smart app shows me the following error: "Check you account: a problem has occurred with your HP account and you will be unable to print very soon unless the issue is resolved. Sign in to your HP account on the home screen to check your status".

So I've logged in to my HP account and the printer is shown as "disconnected from internet - Printer is offline. You might not be able to print".  However, the printer is already connected. The wifi is solid blue and the network status @ HP Smart app in my laptop is "connected"!!! I've checked advanced setting, even updated the firmware online, so obviously the printer is connected to the internet.

Any advices what could be the issue that HP Smart in the web is showing my printer as offline?

Restore the printer to factory defaults and then connect it to wi-fi and run setup and registration again.
