Hoping to find answer here as to why a wireless HP printer deskjet 3050A that I have been using will not connect to the ip address of my network. I use comcast as my wyfi provider and they have switched out the router to provide faster connection. I can not get the printer to connect. According to HP trouble shooting software it says that the ip it picks up is a "temporary" address. When I print out the wireless network test results it shows my network. Of course I have done all the basics ... resetting the router, resetting the printer, re installing the printer.

I am open to all ideas to get this printer back on line. My thoughts is it is Comcast internet problem because it can not give the correct ip for my network. Yes / No?
