Deskjet 2450
iOS

Upgraded broadband with same provider, since then cannot print from iPad 2, printer suggests is connected then when I go back to printer options it has gone. Done all steps suggested by hp virtual assistant and other sources in the help community/forum  including power on off at printer and router, WPS button, restart iPad etc. Spent hours on it and appreciate any further help.

Printed the network configuration page which says:

network status offline

active connection none

Status disconnected

network name (SSID) not set

wifi network status: enabled

service name: deskjet 2540 series

WS discovery status: enabled

WS print status enabled

Hi @JAJ17,

I'd like to help!

To assist better -

  1. Are you trying to connect your printer to your home network, public network or without a router?
  2. What is the status of the wireless light on the printer, steady or blinking?
  3. Is there antivirus software installed on your Mac?
  4. What is the distance between the router and the printer?
  5. Is your router dual-band enabled i.e., both 2.4GHz and 5GHz? If yes, make sure the dual band has different SSIDs for 2.4G and 5G networks

 Let me know!
