HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

I use Rogers for my internet connection.  When I look for printers on my computer I see two printers:

1) HP OFFICEJET PRO 9010 SERIES (NET)

2) HP6067A.PHUB.NET.CABLE.ROGERS.COM

What is the difference?  I own a HP 9015e

Hi @LER2,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

Great question! Here’s the difference between the two printer names you’re seeing:

1) HP OFFICEJET PRO 9010 SERIES (NET)

  • This is your printer installed using the HP driver or HP Smart app.
  • It uses the standard network connection (Wi-Fi or Ethernet) and supports full features like scanning, ink level monitoring, and advanced settings.
  • This is the one you should use for normal printing and scanning.

2) HP6067A.PHUB.NET.CABLE.ROGERS.COM

  • This is the Bonjour/mDNS network name automatically broadcast by your printer on your Rogers network.
  • It appears when the printer advertises itself for AirPrint or network discovery.
  • It’s not a separate printer, just another way your PC detects it.
  • If you select this, Windows might use a basic driver with limited features.

Which One Should You Use?

Always use HP OFFICEJET PRO 9010 SERIES (NET) for full functionality.
You can remove the second one from Devices and Printers to avoid confusion.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
