Recently replaced modem and connected successfully. All was well until HPInstantink connection failed to connect. Initially could hit "connect" button and printer would function., But then, began to get "cannot print" msg, followed by "connect printer to update HP Instant Ink Status" which when hitting "connect" button, would get "printer could not run web access test. internet and web svcs might still be functioning properly. try again later."
I have followed all printed documentation to try to resolve, including resetting factory settings on printer. Printer shows successful connection to internet with solid blue light. Smart App says the printer must be turned on (it is on). Printer is out of warranty so HP won't provide additional assistance. I've gone in so many circles, I don't know where to go from here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@circling, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Here's a step-by-step guide to help resolve the HP Instant Ink connection issue on your HP ENVY 5070 All-in-One Printer after a modem replacement:
Restart All Devices
- Turn off your printer, computer/mobile, and router.
- Unplug the printer and router for 30 seconds.
- Plug back in and power on the router first, then the printer and device.
Reconnect Web Services
Sometimes Web Services (used by Instant Ink) need to be manually reset:
- On the printer control panel, go to Settings > Web Services > Remove Web Services.
- After removal, go back and select Enable Web Services.
- Follow the prompts to re-enable and print the info sheet.

Check Network Configuration
- Ensure your printer and device are on the same Wi-Fi network.
- Avoid using guest networks or VPNs.
- Make sure your router allows IPv6, DNS resolution, and no firewall blocks on ports 80, 443, 5222.
Use HP Smart App to Reconnect
- Open the HP Smart app on your phone or PC.
- Remove the printer and re-add it using the "+" icon.
- Go to Printer Settings > Advanced Settings (EWS).
- In the Embedded Web Server (EWS), navigate to Web Services tab and verify status.
Restore Network Defaults (if not already done)
- On the printer: Settings > Network Settings > Restore Network Defaults.
- Reconnect using Wireless Setup Wizard:
- Settings > Network Setup > Wireless Setup Wizard.

Optional: Print Network Test Report
- On the printer: Settings > Network Settings > Print Wireless Test Report.
- This can help identify hidden network issues.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
