Hi @Frindly ,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand your HP OfficeJet 5200 printer is showing as offline despite performing all the troubleshooting steps, let's go through some additional steps to try and resolve this:

Restart Devices: Sometimes a simple restart of your printer, computer, and router can resolve connectivity issues. Ensure all devices are powered off, then turn them back on after a minute.

Check Network Connection: Verify that your printer is connected to the same WiFi network as your Windows 11 computer. You can do this by printing a network configuration page from the printer's control panel.

Printer Settings Check:

  • Press the Wireless icon or button on your printer's control panel to view the status of the wireless connection. Ensure it shows as connected.
  • If not connected, run the wireless setup wizard on your printer to reconnect it to your WiFi network.

Set as Default Printer: Sometimes setting your HP OfficeJet 5200 as the default printer can help resolve offline issues. Here’s how:

  • Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.
  • Select your HP OfficeJet 5200 printer and click Manage.
  • Ensure the Use printer offline option is unchecked.

Update Printer Firmware: Check if there's a firmware update available for your printer. Updating the firmware can fix bugs and improve connectivity.

Reinstall Printer Driver:

  • Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.
  • Select your HP OfficeJet 5200 printer and click Remove device.
  • Re-add the printer by clicking on Add a printer or scanner and follow the prompts to reinstall it.

Check Firewall/Antivirus Settings: Sometimes firewall or antivirus software can block the printer from communicating with your computer. Temporarily disable these protections to see if it resolves the issue.

HP Print and Scan Doctor:

  • Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor utility from the HP website. This tool can diagnose and resolve many printing and scanning problems automatically.

Reset Printing System (if necessary):

  • Sometimes resetting the printing system on your Windows 11 computer can clear up persistent issues. This will remove all printers and scanners from your list, so only do this if necessary:
    • Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.
    • Scroll down and click Reset printing system.
