I have to continue to switch to wireless between my laptop and HP 2655 wireless printer--how do i fix this??

have you restored the wireless settings after replacing the router? to ensure you may not have any configuration for your old router remains?

 

If not, please follow 'Connect a printer that does not have a touchscreen control panel >> Step 2: Connect the printer with the HP Smart app' below:

If you have already reset the wireless settings, Print a Wireless Network Test page and evaluate the results, may you see any attention or warning?

Also, have you reinstalled the HP Software after replacing the router? else, the printer might be configured on your PC with the old network information and therefore doesn't work.

 

The steps to uninstall the HP software:

Then, follow HP Easy Start to reinstall the latest software:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/HPEasyStart_11_5_4644_17.exe

Hi,

Is the printer connected to the wireless network in your home?

 

Can you see the blue wireless light solid lits, blink or off?
