I am having difficulty connecting to my WiFi. Both laptop and phone are connecting, so it is a printer issue. I have a piece of paper printed out that shows my network name, yet when I am scanning for networks, it doesn't show up as an option.  I tried to manually add it to no avail. I understand there are Windows updates, but I can't install updates without connecting to WiFi. In addition, I just realized today that my warranty expired last year so I don't appear to have too many options.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

 

Let's restore the network settings on the Printer: 1. From the printer control panel, touch or swipe down the tab at the top of the screen to open the Dashboard, and then touch ( Setup ). 2. Touch Network Setup. 3. Touch Restore Network Settings. A message appears stating that the network defaults will be restored. 4. Touch Yes.

 

Once done, connect the Printer to the Wi-Fi.

This didn't work, I've tried it several times. After restoring the settings the printer cannot find my wifi network. I've tried to add it manually and it still doesn't recognize it.

Is the wi-fi on 2.4 or 5Ghz? Did you change your Wi-Fi? IS the router and Printer close by?
