HP LaserJet Pro MFP M148dw

I tried using the HP web site "HP Print and Scan Doctor 5.7.4." My printer will print but not scan. This is not the first time. In Jan i was transferred to Auto Geek Buzz (AKA PC Tech Buildz) from the HP web site). After hours on the phone they corrected the problem and I purchased a almost $1600.00 dollar lifetime support contract.  Today I tied again and was told this was a scam and now It was going to cost another $500 +/- to fix the problem again.

No answer from  Auto Geek Buzz.

Hewlett Packard was once the best in printers now their web site is infested with scammers. Oh, and now my serial number printer is "no longer covered and I should buy a new one".  WELL NO WAY! HP IS JUNK!

Hi @Denpw,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to assist you.

I see that you are facing an issue with your printer.

Are you able to make a copy on the printer standalone? (Place an original document on the scanner glass and make a copy to confirm hardware is working fine)

To understand the issue and help you, please share the details listed below:

- Exact model number/product number(SKU number) of your HP Product (Click herefor information on how to find the model number/product number).

- Error messages or Blinking lights (if any) on the unit.

- May I know which application are you using to print?

- When was the last time your printer was working fine?

- Were there any changes made to your printer recently?

- May I know which devices are you using to print eg: Windows PC, Mac, or Smartphone (Android or iPhone)?

Note: Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.

Take care and have a great day ahead!
