@Kaylarivera25, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

To set up your HP printer on a new Wi-Fi network, follow these steps:

Prepare for Installation

Ensure All Devices are Powered On:

  • Make sure your wireless router and computer are powered on.

Connect to the Same Network:

  • Ensure the computer and printer are connected to the same wireless network.

Set Up the Printer:

  • Load paper into the input tray and install any required toner cartridges.

Start the Software Installation

Download HP Software:

  • Go to the relevant HP support page for your printer model and download the full feature print driver or installation software. For example, HP Deskjet setup.

Install the Software:

  • During installation, a "Connect" window may open. Stop at this window but do not click Continue yet.

Restore Default Wireless Settings on the Printer

Power On the Printer:

  • Ensure the printer is powered on; if the wireless light is blinking, proceed to the next step.

Reset Wireless Settings:

  • Press and hold the Power button and press the Start Copy Black button two times, followed by the Cancel button three times. Release the Power button when done.

Ensure Wireless Light Blinks:

  • The wireless light next to the wireless button should blink. If not, repeat the reset steps.

Complete Software Installation

  1. Continue Setup:
    • Click "Continue" on the installation window and follow the on-screen instructions until you reach the Connection Options screen.

Connection Options Screen

  1. Select Connection Type:
    • Choose "Wireless - Make a wireless connection to the printer," and proceed with the next steps.

Selecting Wireless Connection
