Hi @Ala620

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

To change the Wi-Fi network on your HP ENVY 6055e printer, follow these steps:

Option 1: Using the HP Smart App

Prepare the Printer:

  • Turn on the printer.
  • Reset its network settings by holding down the Wireless button (or Wi-Fi button) and the Cancel button on the printer for 5 seconds until the Wi-Fi light flashes.

Open the HP Smart App:

  • Download and install the HP Smart App on your computer or mobile device if you don’t already have it. You can find it in your device's app store or on the HP website.
  • Ensure your device is connected to the Wi-Fi network you want the printer to connect to.

Add the Printer:

  • Open the app and click the + (Add Printer) option.
  • Select your HP ENVY 6055e from the list of available devices.

Connect to New Wi-Fi:

  • Follow the on-screen prompts in the HP Smart App to reconnect the printer to the new Wi-Fi network.

Option 2: Using WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup)

Enable WPS on the Printer:

  • Press and hold the Wireless button on the printer until it starts flashing.

Activate WPS on the Router:

  • Within 2 minutes, press the WPS button on your router.

Connection Complete:

  • The Wi-Fi light on the printer will stop flashing and remain solid, indicating a successful connection.

Option 3: Manual Setup via Printer's Embedded Web Server (EWS)

Connect Temporarily:

  • Use your computer or smartphone to connect to the printer's temporary Wi-Fi network (HP-Setup-ENVY-6055e).
  • Open a web browser and go to 192.168.223.1.

Change Network Settings:

  • Access the network settings section and select your new Wi-Fi network.
  • Enter your password and save changes.
