Welcome to the HP Community --

What you do depends on your context.

In general,

To find out if the question you ask includes enough detail, ask the question of your Browser AI.

If you get back a good answer, you are done.

Example 1 - Duck Duck Search Assist --

Query: Printer How do I enlarge

Answer: To enlarge a document when printing, open the print dialog, look for the "Page Setup" or "Print Setup" option, and adjust the scale percentage to a value greater than 100. You can also select "Fit to Page" to automatically resize the document to fit the paper size.

OR

Example 2 - Duck Duck Search Assist --

Query: Printer How do I enlarge to paper size

To enlarge a document to fit the paper size when printing, open the print dialog, look for options like "Scale" or "Fit to Page," and select the appropriate setting to adjust the size. Make sure to preview the document to ensure it fits as desired before printing.

   What if?

If you receive a vague, possible unrelated or off-subject answer, add details to your question.

Our HP Community -- at this writing -- are not AI --

In general, the best way to receive an answer that is specific to your situation is to include enough information in your question for someone to know (guess) what you are using, what you are trying to do, and the type of results you want / need.

For example,

In the case of an HP printer,

→  →  What is the Printer Model?

and

What is the content type?  Document?  Image / Photo?

-- Next --

The next details are related to Job type / desired results --

For example,

  • You have an HP Printer on which you are trying to COPY an original and Resize when the content is put to paper --
  • The results are directly dependent on your Printer Model and the extent the printer supports the Copy command:  Does your printer's Copy feature include a Resize option?

OR

  • You have an HP Printer and you are Scanning content and wanting to Resize the content.
  • In general, Scan content at the original size > Save > Print in the size needed.

OR

  • You have an HP Printer -- You want to Print and resize file content to fit the shape and size of your paper.  True -- that question was answered in the AI generated response.

-- Additional details might be helpful --

  • Tell us →  →  Printer model, Content type, Operating System / version, application / software used.
