I have an HP ENVY 5660 and the last 2 days it's been printing out HP Network Configuration Pages around 4am in the morning. Does anyone have any experience with this or know how to resolve the issue. So far, it's printed 14 of these 2 page reports, wasting 28 pieces of paper and the new ink I just purchased. How do I get it to stop doing this?

Hi @Jabbenante,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Printing HP Network Configuration Pages at odd hours can be frustrating, but it's a common issue that can usually be resolved with some troubleshooting. Here are steps you can take to stop your HP ENVY 5660 from printing these pages:
Check for Scheduled Jobs:
- First, check if there are any scheduled print jobs. To do this, go to your computer or mobile device that's connected to the printer.
- Open the printer queue or print manager and look for any pending or scheduled print jobs. Cancel any job related to Network Configuration Pages.
Printer Settings:
- Access your printer's settings menu either through its control panel or a web interface (if your printer has one).
- Look for any option related to automatic network configuration page printing or diagnostics. Disable or turn off this feature.
Firmware Update:
- Check if there are any firmware updates available for your HP ENVY 5660. Sometimes, updating the firmware can resolve such issues. You can usually find firmware updates on the HP website.
Network Configuration:
- Ensure that your printer is connected to the correct network and that there are no issues with your network configuration.
- Check if the printer's IP address is stable and not changing frequently, as this can sometimes trigger network configuration page prints.
Factory Reset (as a last resort):
- If none of the above steps work, you can perform a factory reset on your printer. However, this should be a last resort, as it will erase all your printer settings, and you'll need to set it up again from scratch.
Remember to also check if there have been any recent changes or updates to your computer's operating system or printer drivers, as these can sometimes affect the printer's behavior. It's also a good practice to configure your printer's settings to avoid unnecessary printing and conserve resources.
By following these steps, you should be able to resolve the issue of your HP ENVY 5660 printing Network Configuration Pages at odd hours.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
