Hi @Terri106,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To reset the password for your HP Envy 6055e printer, follow these steps.

Factory Reset the Printer

This will erase any custom settings, including the network and Wi-Fi settings, so you can set up a new password.

  • On the printer's control panel, press the Wireless icon (a Wi-Fi symbol).
  • Tap Settings (gear icon) > Restore Network Settings.
  • Confirm the reset by selecting Yes.

This will reset the Wi-Fi settings and remove any previous network credentials.

Set Up Wi-Fi Again

After the reset, reconnect your printer to your Wi-Fi network:

  • On the printer’s control panel, select Wireless > Settings > Wireless Setup Wizard.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to reconnect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.
  • During this process, you can also set a new password if needed.

Access the Printer's Web Interface (Optional)

If you need to change the password for your printer’s web services (like the email setup), you can do so by accessing the HP Smart app or logging into the printer's web interface via its IP address.

  • Find the printer's IP address: Print a network configuration page from the printer's settings menu.
  • Open a browser and enter the printer’s IP address in the address bar.
  • Sign in to the printer's web interface using the credentials you’ve set up and change the desired settings.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
