Hi @dan201,

I'd like to help!

  1. Could you share an image of the screen requesting a password?
  2. Are you trying to connect your printer to wifi direct?

If you are trying to connect the printer to wifi -direct refer to

To turn Wi-Fi Direct on -

Press and hold the Information button for at least three seconds to light all the buttons, then press the Information, Cancel and Resume buttons at the same time.

The Wi-Fi Direct guide provides instructions about how to use Wi-Fi Direct. To print the guide, press and hold until all the buttons light up, and then press and together. The guide may not be available in all languages.

You may also refer to - No Connection after Router or Wi-Fi Settings Change and User guide

If the printer is asking for an administrator password, then follow the below steps to restore the printer -

Lift the cartridge access door to expose the cartridge area. 2. While the cartridge access door is open, press and hold (the Power button) and Wireless button on the back of the printer for three seconds.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
