Hi @GYP27,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you are facing an issue with connectin your HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 3635 All-In-One Printer to Wi-Fi without a display, you can use the HP Smart app or the WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) method. Here are the steps for both methods:
Method 1: Using HP Smart App
Download and Install HP Smart App:
- On your Windows 11 computer, open the Microsoft Store.
- Search for "HP Smart" and download the app.
Prepare the Printer:
- Make sure your printer is turned on and has paper loaded.
- Ensure the printer is in a ready state (not printing or showing errors).
Connect the Printer to Wi-Fi:
- Open the HP Smart app on your computer.
- Click on the plus sign (+) to add a new printer.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network. The app will guide you through the setup process, including connecting to your Wi-Fi.
Method 2: Using WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) Connect an HP printer using Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS)
Prepare the Printer and Router:
- Ensure your printer is turned on.
- Locate the WPS button on your Wi-Fi router. It is usually labeled as "WPS" or has a symbol of two arrows forming a circle.
Enable WPS on the Printer:
- Press and hold the Wireless button (``) on your printer until the Wireless light starts blinking. This indicates the printer is in WPS mode.
Activate WPS on the Router:
- Within two minutes, press the WPS button on your router.
- The Wireless light on the printer will stop blinking and remain solid once the connection is successful.
Troubleshooting Tips
- Ensure Wi-Fi Signal: Make sure your printer and computer are within the range of your Wi-Fi network.
- Router Compatibility: Verify that your router supports WPS if you are using that method.
- Reboot Devices: Restart your printer, computer, and router if the connection fails.
- Update Firmware: Ensure your printer firmware is up to date. You can update the firmware using the HP Smart app. Update the firmware on an HP printer
