My HP printer suddenly shows “offline” even though it is connected to Wi-Fi and powered ON. Printing fails from all applications. Error number-8333516994-When checking. My HP printer suddenly shows “Offline” on a Windows 11 system, even giving error-8333516994-though the printer is powered ON, connected to Wi-Fi, and previously worked without issues. Print jobs remain stuck in the queue and do not print. Any solution is appreciable

Hi @garamc89ai_,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

I am sorry to hear that your HP printer is showing as "offline" even though it is powered on and connected to a Wi-Fi network, there are several troubleshooting steps you can take to resolve the issue. Here’s a guide to help you get your printer back online:

Check Printer Status:

  • Ensure that the printer is powered on and connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer.
  • If there are any error messages on the printer’s display, resolve them.

Restart Devices:

  • Restart both the printer and the computer.
  • Turn off the printer, unplug the power cord, wait for about one minute, reconnect the power cord, and then turn on the printer.

Set Printer as Default:

  • Go to the Windows Control Panel, select "Devices and Printers" (on Windows 10) or "Printers & Scanners" (on Windows 11).
  • Right-click on your HP printer and select "Set as default printer".

Clear Print Queue:

  • Open the print queue by double-clicking your printer icon in "Devices and Printers".
  • Cancel all pending print jobs.

Update Printer Drivers:

  • Visit HP Support to download and install the latest drivers for your specific printer model.

Check Printer Port:

  • In "Devices and Printers", right-click your printer and select "Printer Properties".
  • Go to the "Ports" tab and ensure that the port is set correctly for your network configuration.

Take care and have an amazing day!
