Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To change the Wi-Fi network on your HP4100 printer, follow these steps:
Method 1: Using the Printer Control Panel

- Access the Wireless Settings:
- On the printer control panel, navigate to the Wireless or Network settings menu. This is typically represented by a Wi-Fi icon.
- Select Wireless Setup Wizard:
- In the Wireless or Network menu, select the Wireless Setup Wizard. This will guide you through the process of connecting to a new Wi-Fi network.
- Choose Your New Network:
- The printer will search for available Wi-Fi networks. Select your new Wi-Fi network from the list.
- Enter Network Password:
- If prompted, enter the Wi-Fi password for the new network.
- Confirm Connection:
- Follow the remaining on-screen instructions to complete the setup. Once connected, your printer should be on the new Wi-Fi network.
Method 2: Using the HP Smart App
- Download HP Smart App:
- If you don't have it already, download the HP Smart App from the HP website or your device's app store (available for both Android and iOS).
- Open the HP Smart App:
- Launch the app and make sure your printer is turned on and within range of your Wi-Fi network.
- Add Your Printer:
- If your printer is not already added, tap the plus sign (+) to add your printer. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your printer to the app.
- Access Network Settings:

- Enter New Network Details:
- Choose your new Wi-Fi network and enter the password when prompted.
- Complete Setup:
- Follow the remaining instructions to finish the setup. Your printer should now be connected to the new Wi-Fi network.
Method 3: Using WPS (Wi-Fi)Prepare the Printer:
- Make sure your printer is turned on and the Wi-Fi feature is enabled.
- Initiate WPS on Printer:
- On the printer control panel, navigate to the Wireless menu and select Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS). Choose the Push Button option.
- Press WPS Button on Router:
- Within two minutes, press the WPS button on your Wi-Fi router. The WPS button is usually found on the back or side of the router.
