Hi @Green221,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

Thanks for reaching out. Changing your HP printer to a new Wi-Fi setup and password is a common task, especially after switching routers or networks. I’ll guide you through it step-by-step, no stress, we’ll get your printer reconnected in no time.

Option 1: Using HP Smart App (Recommended)

  1. Open the HP Smart App on your Windows PC or mobile device.
  2. Make sure Bluetooth is enabled (if using a mobile).
  3. Tap “+” to add a printer or select your existing printer.
  4. If the printer is offline, tap “Set up a new printer”.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to:
    • Connect your printer to the new Wi-Fi.
    • Enter the new Wi-Fi password.
  6. Once connected, the printer should show online in the app.

Option 2: Using Printer Control Panel

If your printer has a touchscreen:

  1. Go to Settings > Network Setup > Wireless Settings.
  2. Tap Wireless Setup Wizard.
  3. Select your new Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
  4. Wait for the confirmation message.

If your printer doesn’t have a touchscreen:

  • Use the HP Smart App or Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS):
    • Press and hold the Wi-Fi button on the printer until it starts blinking.
    • Press the WPS button on your router within 2 minutes.
