Hi @Taras666 ,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you are trying to connect your HP Laser MFP 135w printer to Wi-Fi without a WPS button using your smartphone, follow these steps:
Download the HP Smart App:
- Go to the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
- Search for and download the HP Smart app.
Prepare the Printer:
- Turn on your HP Laser MFP 135w printer.
- Make sure it's in Wireless Direct mode (the wireless light should be blinking). If it's not in this mode, you can enable it by pressing the Wireless button on the printer until the light blinks.
Connect Your Smartphone to the Printer:
- On your smartphone, go to Settings > Wi-Fi.
- Look for a network name (SSID) that starts with "HP-Print" followed by the printer's name or model number (e.g., HP-Print-135w).
- Connect to this network. You may be prompted to enter a password; this is usually printed on the printer's information page.
Use the HP Smart App to Connect to Wi-Fi:
- Open the HP Smart app.
- Tap on the plus sign (+) or Add Printer.
- The app should detect your printer. Select it.
- Follow the prompts to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network. You will need to enter your Wi-Fi network name and password.
Final Steps:
- Once connected, the printer should automatically join your home Wi-Fi network.
- After the setup, you can disconnect your smartphone from the printer’s Wi-Fi and reconnect it to your home Wi-Fi.
Test the Connection:
- Try printing a test page from the HP Smart app or another application to ensure the printer is connected properly.

I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
