I'm using Mobile Hotspot for my laptop. I want to connect my HP 2545 WiFi printer in another room.

How do I connect?

Hi,

Mobile Hotspot provided internet connectivity, not local networking which is required for printing or scanning from a device over the local network.

 

You may either connect the printer with a router, a USB cable, or you may connect to the printer from this computer via HP Wireless Direct to print wirelessly without a router.

 

You may follow the below steps to print using HP Wireless Direct, without router access:
