The screen shows abc, def, ghi, jkl, etcetera. If I want to type an 'o', how do I get to the 'o'? When I touch the 'mno' button, it only gets me the 'm'!

Welcome to the HP Community --
I suspect this method works the same way the old touch-tone phones used to work to enter one or another of the numbers associated with the alphabet. Yes, phones used to do that...
For example, to get to the "o", tap the m-n-o key three times.
What?
Tap once for "m"
Tap twice for "n"
Tap three times for "o"
What else?
If you can do so, use the Embedded Web Server (EWS) to manage your Wireless setup on the printer.

Example – EWS – IPv4
EWS > HP Document / How-to
Use the HP printer Embedded Web Server (EWS)
Ethernet
Open your Browser > Type / enter the Printer IP address into URL / Address bar
Tab Network > Wired (802.3) > IPv4 Configuration
Wireless
Open your Browser > Type / enter the Printer IP address into URL / Address bar
Tab Network > Wireless (802.11) > IPv4 Configuration
As Available:
Tab Network > Wireless (802.11) > Advanced
Network Interface on / off, Network SSID name, Security Settings, Passphrase / Password
Select and connect to the correct SSID / network name for the bandwidth you are using.
Note: It is not mandatory that you use a manual / static IP address. Doing so can improve stability.
