Printer sits covered. I use it about 1 time a month. New cartridges less than 60 days ago, including large black ink for the first time.
Now I get "print head problem" with no error code and no way to clear it.
Spent 5 hours looking at posts as far back as 2016 on this subject with other printers having the same issue. I did not see any solution other than calling Tech support, which has LONG wait times..
I manually updated software at the printer screen on the printer. Win 10 recently also updated.
Tried power resetting it 8 times.. Nothing clears this error. Tried everything every post suggested. No good.
This appears to be an ongoing issue with HP printers. My gowd this thing hasn't even ran thru 5 reams of paper yet.
Anyone got any ideas, other than buying another printer?

I have made a discovery about these ink jet printers.
You fix this problem by replacing the entire printer. Yes my 400 dollar printer is now a pile of scrap.
This "There is a problem with the printhead" error message is the result of dry ink within the print head system.
If you buy an inkjet printer you MUST print something about every 14 days or so or the ink will dry up within the system causing a blockage that results in this error. In dryer conditions, fewer days between printings will be required to avoid this problem.
HP can fix this problem very easily. But apparently has chosen not to do so.
Not at all happy with HP on this issue.

Tried them.. so far, just a big mess as it is impossible to get the paper towel under the print head.. and after 3 tries and hours soaking using the print head cleaning kit (from amazon), still have the problem.
