My printer goes to offline and will not print. Used to be able to run troubleshooter to fix it. Microsoft no loner supports this. What can I do?

To get your HP Photosmart 5525 e-All-in-One Printer from offline to online, you can try the following steps.

Restart Printer and Computer
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source. Wait for a minute, then plug it back in and turn it on.
- Restart your computer.
Check Printer Queue
- Open the Devices and Printers window.
- Right-click on your printer and select See what's printing.
- If there are any documents stuck in the queue, right-click and select Cancel.
Update Printer Drivers
- Go to the HP Support website and download the latest drivers for your Photosmart 5525.
- Install the drivers and follow the prompts to complete the installation.

Reset the Printing System (Mac Only)
If you're using a Mac, you can reset the printing system:
- Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners.
- Right-click (or Control-click) in the Printers list and select Reset printing system.
- Add your printer again.
Use HP Print and Scan Doctor
HP offers a free tool called HP Print and Scan Doctor that can help diagnose and fix printing issues. You can download it from the HP website.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
