Hi @Sohail1986
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.
If you've forgotten the EWS (Embedded Web Server) password for your HP Ink Tank Wireless 415 series and the standard solutions aren't working, here’s how you can try resetting it:
1. Restore Network Settings on the Printer
- Resetting the network settings will also clear any customized EWS password back to default:
- Turn on the printer.
- Press and hold the Wireless button and the Cancel button on the printer for 5 seconds until the wireless light starts blinking. This will restore factory default network settings.
- Reconnect the printer to your Wi-Fi network using the HP Smart App or WPS.
After resetting, the default EWS password might be restored. Look for it on a label on the printer or in the printer manual.
2. Print a Network Configuration Page
- To retrieve the default EWS credentials, you can print a network configuration or information page:
- Press the Information button on the printer (or hold it for 5 seconds).
- Look for the EWS Username and Password in the printed document. It might also be listed as a PIN or default access credentials.
3. Access the EWS and Reset Settings
- If you can access the EWS with default credentials:
- Open a web browser and enter the printer’s IP address (found on the network configuration page).
- Navigate to the Settings or Security tab.
- Reset the password from the EWS interface.
If this solution hits the spot, please come back and click "Accepted Solution" to help others find the answer. And if you'd like to say thanks, select "Yes" on the bottom left of the public post, as that would make our day!
Take care, and have an amazing day!

@Sohail1986, Thanks for your patience — I know it’s really frustrating when nothing seems to work.
Since the HP Ink Tank Wireless 415 series doesn’t have a display panel with full settings, and you’ve already tried all common methods, the only option left might be a full factory reset — but this has to be done carefully, as it will erase all custom settings including Wi-Fi and network configs.
Here’s what you can try:
Manual Factory Reset (via printer buttons):
Turn on the printer.
Press and hold the Wireless button and the Cancel (X) button together for 5 seconds.
The printer should restart or blink — this signals a reset.
After the reset, you should be able to access the EWS again without a password.
Let me know if this works or if the reset doesn’t seem to happen — I’ll do my best to guide you further!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
