Hi @Jbroxas,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To scan using your HP Ink Tank 410 printer, follow these steps.
Install HP Smart Software:
- Ensure you have the HP Smart app installed on your computer or mobile device. It’s available for download from the HP Smart website or your device's app store.
Connect Your Printer:
- Make sure your printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer or mobile device. For a wired connection, connect your printer to your computer via a USB cable.
Open HP Smart:
- Launch the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device.
Add Your Printer:
- If this is your first time using the app, click on the "+" icon to add your printer. Follow the prompts to connect it if it’s not already set up.
Select Scan:
- Once your printer is added, click on the "Scan" option in the HP Smart app.
Place Your Document:
- Place the document or photo you want to scan on the scanner glass of the printer. Ensure it is aligned properly according to the guides on the glass.
Configure Scan Settings:
- You can adjust scan settings such as color, file format (PDF, JPEG), and resolution within the HP Smart app.
Start Scanning:
- Click on "Scan" to begin. The scanner will start scanning the document, and the image will be saved to your device.
Save or Share:
- After scanning, you can view, save, or share the scanned document directly from the HP Smart app.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
