Hi @Ldbaugh,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Setting up Bluetooth printing from your iPhone to a laser printer involves a few steps to ensure compatibility and proper configuration. Here’s a general guide to help you set it up:
Steps to Set Up Bluetooth Printing from iPhone to Laser Printer:
Check Printer Compatibility:
- Ensure that your laser printer supports Bluetooth connectivity. Not all laser printers have built-in Bluetooth capability, so check your printer’s specifications or manual to confirm.
Enable Bluetooth on iPhone:
- On your iPhone, swipe down from the top right corner of the screen (on newer models) or swipe up from the bottom of the screen (on older models) to open Control Center.
- Tap on the Bluetooth icon to turn it on. Your iPhone will start scanning for nearby Bluetooth devices.
Enable Bluetooth on Printer (if applicable):
- If your laser printer supports Bluetooth, refer to the printer’s manual to enable Bluetooth connectivity. This usually involves navigating through the printer’s control panel or settings menu to turn on Bluetooth.
Pair iPhone with Printer:
- Once Bluetooth is enabled on both devices, your iPhone should detect the printer in the list of available Bluetooth devices.
- Tap on the name of your printer when it appears in the list on your iPhone’s Bluetooth settings screen to pair the devices.
Install Printer App (if necessary):
- Some printers require you to install a dedicated app from the App Store to enable Bluetooth printing. Follow the instructions provided by the HP to download and install the app.
Print from iPhone:
- After pairing, open the document or photo you want to print on your iPhone.
- Tap the Share button (usually represented by a square with an arrow pointing up) and select "Print" from the options.
- Your iPhone should automatically detect the paired printer via Bluetooth. Select the printer, adjust print settings if necessary, and tap "Print" to send the document to the printer.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
